Lectures presented in class
Because of the difficulty of the subject, I am presenting the multiple-degree-of freedom vibration lectures (free, forced) in class on Fridays. The lecture on free multi-dof vibration was given on Friday October 14th, and the lecture on forced multi-dof vibration will be given on Friday October 21st.
- For those of you who are only watching lectures on video, there is no need to change the order of viewing.
- Before October 24th you should all have seen all of the lectures up to and including "Forced Vibration of Multi-DOF System".
- The lectures on "Rotating Unbalance" and "Transmissibility" should be watched sequentially, but can be watched before or after the lectures on "Multi-DOF Systems".

Change in order of labs
To maintain continuity in the vibration labs, we will do the two multi-degree-of-freedom labs (free, forced) after this week's forced vibration lab and move the hydraulics lab back two weeks. The modified syllabus will be posted on the web site. The schedule of labs (Mondays) therefore is now:
Oct. 17: Forced Vibration
Oct 24: Free Vibration of Multi-DOF
Oct 31: Forced Vibration of Multi-DOF
Nov 7: Hydraulic system
