  • 1st-order R-C filter Demo - There is a phasor plot and a Bode-magnitude plot (vertical ticks every 10 dB, horizontal ticks every decade in frequency). Dragging on the Bode plot selects a frequency -- w_c cutoff is in the middle of the plot. The black phasor is source voltage, red phasor capacitor voltage, green phasor resistor voltage. Note how the red phasor lags the green phasor by a constant 90 degrees, but how the red phasor gets smaller relative to the green phasor as frequency goes up. (3/4/2002 - 188k - EXE)

  • Phasor demo - Phasor runs under Windows 95 and later. Drag with the mouse in the phasor window to set the magnitude and phase -- the waveform window, numeric readouts of phasor and waveform update automatically. Drag with the mouse in the waveform window to rotate the phasor in the counter-clockwise direction. Press the Start button to rotate the phasor at a constant rate. (3/4/2002 - 193.5k - EXE)
