(9/11/1998 - 264.4k - MCD) Problem 11.5 from Smith, Van Ness, and Abbott - This problem, which fits binary vapor-liquid equilibrium data with a three-parameter Margules equation, provides an example and a Mathcad template for solving Problem 11.6 on HW VI. This program was saved as a Mathcad 7 file. (10/10/1998 - 52.4k - MCD) Problem 11.5 from SVA --- Mathcad 6 Version - This version of the Problem 11.5 example was saved as a Mathcad 6 file. (10/12/1998 - 29.5k - MCD) Problem 12.21(b) from Smith, Van Ness, and Abbott. - This example, which involves calculation of the dew point and equilibrium liquid composition for a given ternary gas mixture of acetone, methanol, and water at a fixed pressure, illustrates one way to set up the iterative calculations in Mathcad. (10/26/1998 - 20.9k - MCD) Summary of Homework Grades - This spreadsheet shows the homework grades posted for each student. Check your grades to make sure that all of your homeworks were recorded.
